Is the "server" playlist control compatible with the asp.net atlas(ajax) functionality? I wanted to avoid the flickering effect from postbacks to the server when selecting different mp3 selections on the playlist. I added an update panel and set the script manager to partial rendering, but it appears that the playlist doesn't update as expected as the items and in the playlist appear to have no effect when selected. same for the next and previous track controls linked to the playlist.

yes it is compatible. use the server control definitely.
