I am using WindowsMedia player in an existing web application that requires authentication. The media player will not play the video in the application. However, if I build a new application and use the same video and web page, the player works fine. What am I missing? Is there addition configuration I need to complete before using this control in my application?

Additional information: When I built the new application that the Windows Media would work in, the authentication method was windows. I made no adjustments to the webconfig files. I only built a new website and added the Windows Media control to the default.aspx page.

I guess that there is a permissions issue n the WMP files in your 1st app.
